Carrie Nelson is the Owner and Photographer of Brendan Thomas Photography. Her interest in Photography began at a young age, but it was while in college she decided to pursue what she thought would be a rewarding secondary career. After working with a local photographer she quickly realized that she wouldn't be able to do anything else but capture timeless images during some of the most important times of peoples lives.
Brendan Thomas Photography was then established in the Fall of 2006 after the birth of her son. Carrie lives in Canal Fulton with her husband Tom and her little boy, Brendan Thomas.
The studio is located in Clinton, a short distance from the Akron, Canton and Cleveland areas. The studio sits on the quiet towpath of the Metroparks and is a 5 minute drive from the family's 20 acre property.
Over the past 3 years, BTP has quickly become one of the most popular studios in the Akron/Cleveland area, photographing 40 weddings annually.
Carrie specializes in a variety of photography styles. However, weddings occupy most of her time and interest. "A wedding is truly one of the most important moments in our lives." "Being able to witness a couple in love and sharing that with the people they love is so special and I feel very fortunate to be invited to be a part of that."
