Born in Haiti and raised across two families, Dacheka Kolcum has built a career grounded in resilience, artistry, and community. As a working supermodel, she has walked global runways and shot editorials. Then, she created the support system that she always wanted in the modeling world.
Beyond The Pose exists to give models, designers, and photographers real industry opportunity. With years of experience and a passion for elevating talent, Dacheka leads each workshop with intention, expertise, and a commitment to representation.
Her mission is simple: to build the most impactful modeling workshop and creative network. Where talent is seen, supported, and set up to succeed.

We are always excited about making our workshops as inclusive as possible, and we can't wait to meet all of the beautiful people who are attending our next event.

Usually, we accept professional models and agency level models into our workshops.
One of our top priorities is providing attendees with an elevated, professional experience. This means we are diligent about bringing in the best of the best... while also recognizing that this is intentionally a learning experience. We never expect perfection.
